Artistic description:

In a field of poppies, a woman stands there. Still, peaceful. She has just been through something, you can feel it.

The wind stirs the flowers, the sun brushes her skin, but she doesn't move. Her head is bowed, thoughtful, her gaze turned inward, she seems inhabited by a memory. Perhaps of a love, or is it that strange calm that follows the storm ?

She does not regret, not quite. She no longer dreams, not really.
She lingers, between two times: the one that is ending, and the one that has not yet begin.

She stands in that in-between.
Before the event, after the wound. In other words: at the dawn of dusk.

This painting is the first in the “A Time for Love” collection, a gentle, melancholic, vibrant opening note that sets the tone. A fragile light, infused with nostalgia.

It is a painting of waiting and silence, but also of that fleeting moment when one feels in harmony with the world, in peace, in serenity, in softness, just before it starts to turn again.
